Dizi Lessons

The Dizi (Chinese bamboo flute) is one of the most iconic and expressive instruments in Chinese music. Its bright, lyrical tone makes it a favourite in both traditional and contemporary repertoire.

Lesson Focus:

Sheng Lessons

The Sheng, a traditional Chinese mouth organ with vertical pipes and reeds.

The Sheng (Chinese mouth organ) is a unique wind instrument capable of producing multiple notes simultaneously, creating rich harmonies and textures. It is often featured in both solo and orchestral settings.

Lesson Policies
To ensure a smooth and enjoyable learning experience, please take note of the following:
Lesson Duration: 45 or 60 minutes per session
Lesson Frequency: Weekly
Student Age: Minimum 8 years old and above
Lesson Location: All lessons are conducted at the student’s home in Singapore (in-person only; online lessons are currently not available).
Levels: Beginners to advanced learners
Lesson Focus: Tailored to each student’s learning goals — leisure, pop, or graded exam preparation
Lesson Rate: Please contact us for more information.
Payments: Lesson fees are payable at the first lesson of each set of four lessons, via PayNow or cash.
Scheduling & Punctuality: Lessons will begin and end as scheduled to respect both parties’ time. Please provide at least 24 hours’ notice for any rescheduling. Cancellations without notice may be charged.
Instrument Purchase: Students are required to have their own Dizi or Sheng (including accessories). Please consult with the instructor on suitable models and types before purchasing. The instructor can also assist with purchase arrangements upon agreement.
Teaching slots are limited due to other professional commitments. Lesson fees reflect the personalised attention and quality of instruction you can expect. Priority is given to learners who are motivated and excited to grow their skills.
